Everybody says being a mom changes you. Well I have to disagree. I am a mom. I am still Mallorye Wesley, I am still a daughter of the king, a christ follower. I am still a wife. I am still a daughter. A sister. I am still a student. I am still a housekeeper. Being a mom didn’t change me. I still like to go hang out with friends. I still like to look my best. See no change. Being a mom simply added to my life. Now I can say I am mommy. I am a nurse. I am a comforter. I am a taxi driver. I still get to hang out with friends, they be different friends. Now my friends are other mommies, but I still keep in touch with the old friends. I still like to look my best, and you can guarantee I make sure my daughter looks her best. I am not perfect. I wasn’t perfect before I was mom, I definitely am not perfect as a mom. Being a mom simply made me the best version of me. I eat healthier, I exercise more. Things I liked to do before but had no motivation. Now I have the motivation. My daughter. You don’t have to change just because you are a mom. You are simply you. And that is simply good enough for me. Simply me.
You don’t have to change
